Do you want an experience of a lifetime? Then come and volunteer with animals at Manali Strays.

- When you are thinking of coming.
- Frequency and duration – eg, every day for two weeks, two days a week for two months, etc.
- What sort of work you would be most interested in helping us with.
We welcome both veterinary and non-veterinary volunteers that can participate in hands-on work at our rescue centre.
If you are a vet and have experience with equines, we would really like to hear from you. Manali has many mules, donkeys, and horses that are in poor condition.
In addition, if you have any of the following skills and would like to volunteer with animals, get in touch;
Photography or videography, product design, social media marketing, fundraising.
As a volunteer you may be asked to help with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:
Helping to look after inpatients – feeding; grooming & bathing; walking; basic medical treatments, helping them overcome fear or shyness;
Helping with general upkeep – painting; gardening & weeding; cleaning kennels, clinic areas, & non-clinic areas;
Helping with office/admin work – filling in forms; databases; taking photos & videos,
